We were driving ard, finding a pl for brunchie dis morn. Saw tt Mr Prata at Clementi was open so dec'd to gif it a try..
I wanted to eat maggi goreng but dey don haf any goreng b4 12pm :( Servings were reali huge!! We got a tuna cheese roti john, eggie prata n maggi prata - yep, maggi mee in d prata :P
D prata tastes quite good but reali too big. We cld onli finish abt half of etg :P Will go back n try d maggi goreng some day :) Price was quite alrite oso..
Last nite was beautiful :) My sweet little bf planned a surprise to bring me to d duck tour but hahaa, it was cancelled last min cos of d rain :P He said nm, still got a surprise dinnie to look forward to :D He brot me to Mt Sophia, a bird don lay egg pl which is actuali quite near town :P
It's a v.arty place, wif many art studios ard. Beautiful scenery, especially at nite :) Dere r 2 restaurants dere, we dec'd to haf din at 1 n drinks at the otr (:
I had the spicy jumbo prawn aglio olio, little boy had the cod fishie wif herb crust. We oso ordered a spinach salad to share. Desssie was a lemony tart wif lotsa berries!
Spinach leaves were fresh n mixed wif d vinegar, d caramelised roasted onions added a nice sweet crunch to d salad (: My pasta was good! 1 of d nicest aglio olio I've ever had! :D Prawns were succulent n huge, pastie v.garlicky n springy :) Dere were pine nuts in it too! Yummy! :D Fish wasnt as gd as d pasta but still not bad. D dessie..
Look at d centre!! :D :D It was filled wif chopped up strawberries!!! D lemon cream was sour but d crust was sweet so it balanced out reali nicely :D I told little boy I wouldnt mind gg back jus to eat d dessie :) Hopped over to dis chill out pub opp called Recess..
Actuali dis whole pl is reali nice but for a Sat nite, d crowd is sadly small. Thru'out d whole time we were dere, d resturant onli had abt 3 tables filled n we were d onli custs in d pub until anor couple came in jus wen we were leaving :( Hopefuli dey wun close dwn so soon..
End of Sun again le :( D time of dis post shows 12pm cos I was typing dis halfway in d afternoon b4 giraffe pulled mi to ktv wif her -.- So in d hot hot sun, I asked little boy to come fetch me dere :D Ohoh, as he was driving me homie jus nw..
Me: I miss riding on a bike.. Little boy: why...? Me: Cos got wind blow in my hair, nice nice.. Little boy: *starts to open d window* Me: -.-''' It's diff, dis 1 blow frm d side will mess up my hair, I like blow frm d front de.. Little boy: *turns d aircon on full n blast d wind rite in my face* Dere! :D Me: -___-''''
