It's pouring reali heavily dis morn but I woke up wif a smile. Little boy had gone to work alrd n I reali miss him :)
I'm hapi 2dae, despite d cold weather (: Cos I noe 2dae is d end of my 4 yr long nitemare. 我真的解脱了!!! :D Tks for finali giving me a new lease of life :) I'll nv b d 1 who has to marry a guy who goes ard telling ppl .... :)

Met Win last evening, a long overdue dinner date since she came back frm Indo 2 mths+ ago :P Mum mum at Sushi Tei cos she was had a craving for Jap. To CB after tt for a long long chat :) It seemed not too long ago, wen we were still students, our topics would surround exams, puppy loves n class cliques. Nw, almst 10 yrs later, chit chat topics have become work, uni studies, who's married/getting married etc. It's nice to catch up once in awhile like tt. We shd do dis more often girl :)

Dee dee was invited to a financial talk by OCBC n he wanted to bring little boy along. Little boy was shy n arranged for mi to tag along too. I wasnt v.interested in d talk but I saw "sumptuous dinner" on d invitation card n it's at Fullerton Hotel, so I agreed to go wif them.
I was mesmerized by d beautiful chandelier once I stepped into d Straits Room. So pretty n elagant!!! I hinted to little boy tt I wan dis in our hse nxt time n both of them immediately started giving mi 1001 reasons y it's not practical to do tt -.-'''
It was a gd tg little boy fore-warned me tt Fullerton's food is not v.nice cos for a hotel wif a restuarant tt charges $38 for a tomato, d food was dreadfully disappointing..
Bread bread was alrite. I quite liked d foccacia n butter rolls. Dey had a light croissant bite n d butter wasnt overwhelming :)
I was quite amused by d butter wif a neat "f" logo on it :P Reali cute! Appetizer was tuna carpaccio with pan-fried foie gras..
Foie gras was inconsistent, some over cooked, some not cooked enuff #.- D raw tuna was so tasteless I could onli base it on d color n thot it was not fresh smoked salmon =/ Little boy said to gif them abit of credit, at least d liver was of substantial size. To me, tt's reali beside d point. If u wan to serve an expensive dish, do it right. Cream of Celerjac wif roasted scallop n apple puree nxt..
D ingredients speak for itself. Wth puts apple in a cream soup?!?!? I totali disliked it, onli ate d scallop. Main course was chickie stuffed wif mozzarella and basil wif broccoli mash..
Dear dear!!! Tt greeny crap was broccoli!!! My gdness!!!! It totali din taste like broccoli at all loh!!!! *faintz* Chickie hard n dry like stone, accompanying champagne beurre n d weird tasting green stuff din help at all. Last but not least, a chocolate cakie dessie..
Little boy said it was good but too much damage had been done. Plus, to me, sweet stuff will nv help to make tgs rite. Dey gaf a tray of mini chocs after d dessie..I din try but d presentation of it looked nice :)
Not onli was d food mediocre (disclaimer: sori, mb some ppl liked d meal but I reali didn't), service left much to be desired as well. Dee dee asked for a glass of warm water, it took 3 waiters n a half hr wait to finally get it. Dey don refill ur glasses after u r done n coffee n tea was served AFTER d talk was over n ppl were getting ready to leave -.-!!!
Worst of all?? Their house pour sucked!!!!! It was my most be hated Shiraz!!! *meow!!!* Don ask mi hw was d talk, I din understand a single tg -.-zzz Let's talk abt happier food, shall we? :)
I wanted to bring little boy to a restuarant he wanted 2 go for our 19th mth anniversary dinnie. Hwever, Mr Work-Until-Forget-Gf was more dan an hr late meeting me ytd n I was painfully starving alrd cos I din eat lunchie. We had to nihw find a pl to eat at Boat Quay instd @.- Settled dwn at Sizzling Rock, a nice quiet pl beside d river..
Garlic bread was crisp n garlicky, d way I like it. Mixed platter nice, I especially njoyed d cheese potato tgy. Their specialty is d hot stone so of cos I had to try it rite? :) I ordered d salmon n steak combo while little boy had d normal rib eye wif garlic butter. Frankly speaking, I din reali like my hot stone tgy. 1st of all, mb I dono hw to cook it properly but my steak came out v.stiff n dry =/ 2ndly, d oil kept splattering all over me! Quite painful leh -.-''' Salmon was oki tho cos I ate it b4 it was thoroughly cooked. I preferred his steak which was grilled d normal way. If I ever go back dere, I'll jus get d chef-cooked dishes :P
Alrighty, time to zzz le (: It's finali Fri!! :D Cant wait to spend d weekend wif my little boy again!! Wee!! :D

Wen he's late meeting me cos of work, I gif him a black face d whole nite n don tok 2 him. Wen I'm late meeting him cos of work, he runs all ard d foodcourt, getting mi all sorts of hapi food to cheer me up n less stressed.
I was at Raffles Convention Centre d whole day for d APIC event til abt 4pm wen I was recalled 2 office cos Janet was so bz she cld hardly breathe. Tt was hw I stayed back til 7+ pm to finish watever I cld finish. By d time I met little boy, almst an hr late, I was all ready to throw stones at ppl =/
Dis sweet darling, sat me dwn, n started bouncing all over d foodcourt to get all sorts of food for me. He was prob near starving himself but he din even stop bouncing long enuff for me to ask him to sit dwn n eat wif mi :P
He said dey were all simple food, no need for me to b so hapi. To me, dese simple food all tasted so so sweet. I might v.well haf put on 1 kg frm tt but :) I feel so warm n fuzzy inside :)
D passion I feel for u, is as much as wen we 1st started dating. But my love n understanding for u have grown so much deeper n dependent. I wana live my whole life holding ur hands. Hapi 19 mths, my cute little baby. I promise I'll b a better gf to u *muacks*

Ytd was a day away frm office, we had our annual board meeting at Carlton Hotel. Buffet lunchie at Cafe Vic n den a whole afternoon of reeeeali boring presentations -.-zzz 6pm sharp we all skipped over to Raffles Hotel cos we were holding a cocktail for d APIC event dere..
Raffles Hotel is a reali beautiful pl, kinda antique-y, old school like. We walked past a cafe n saw ppl hafg high tea wif 3-tier trays of pastries n fingie sandwichies. Wana bring little boy dere to mum mum 1 day :)
Service dere was amazing I tell u. Our cocktail was at d Bar & Billards Room, d reception area was outdoors wif plants all ard. Sherlyn n I were doin reception duty n got bitten by millions of mozzies. D staff tried so hard to find medicated oil for us n wen tt din help much, dey even went to Watsons to get us insect repellent! :D We were v.v.impressed :)
Nt onli tt, we kinda had our personal butler d whole nite :) Dese 2 waiters, seeing us sitting dere hot n hungry, kept bringing us foodie n drinks :P I had 6 glasses of Merlot n so much foodie :)
I tink dere were a few types of dessies but we onli tried 1. N it was deeeelicious!!! It's a french lemon tart (to put it simply), d metal spoon is cold n u r supp 2 put d whole tg in2 ur mouth n it jus melts..
After complimenting d 1st 1, d waiter brot us a whole tray of it!! :D We asked d manager if we can buy it at d cafes or niwhere else, he said nope, dey don sell it :( After d event, d manager even asked us to stay back cos he wanted 2 treat us to a Singapore Sling! I cldnt stay cos little boy was dere 2 pick me alrd..n I had a little 2 much alcohol for d nite :P More pictys of d party wen I get them frm Sher :)
I haf to go back to office 2dae cos dere's too much to do. Oh well :) At least I noe I'm being appreciated wen Janet told me she felt so much better wen I came back :)

A supposedly piggy gathering turned out to b onli little ant, Karen, little boy n I :P Nonetheless, we still had fun :) D evening started wif little boy n little ant dropping a whole container of chopsticks, forks, knives n spoons onto d floor in a rather quiet cafe wif a v.v.loud "PIANG!!!!!!" Wahahhaaa!!! I cant rem if I more shocked or amused :D
We were v.hungry n ordered loads of food. I thot dis onli happens wen I go out wif beanie but it appears dis funi symptom is spreading -.-
Foodie was all not bad, I esp loved d baked broccoli wif cheese! :) D waiter stunned us wif a big plate of mixed platter wen we've alrd finished our mains -.-''' Who serves appetitzers at d end of d meal de??? #.- To Rochester Park for a drinkie after tt cos Karen said, "can we go smwhere wif alcohol.......??" :P

We accomplished so much b4 1pm today!!! :D :D Woke up at 8am, went to Informatics to sign some forms, den to Toa Payoh for breakie n little boy wanted to go look at d Punggol showrooms at hdb hub. To Chinatown to get some stuff for my dee dee n homie after tt. Little boy is nw dwnstairs washing car car, I'm watching 原来爱上贼 (d show tt giraffe rented n refused to lend me =/) n blogging :)
I casually mentioned tt I wana eat white asparagus again n last nite, little boy said we were gg to a surprise pl for dinnie :) While walking thru Marina Sq, I realized where he was bringing me! :D Hee, I smart smart ;)
We went dere for white asparagus last yr..it's still nice nice! :D
Besides d asparagus wif ham, we also had d seafood pasta, mushie soup, rosti wif shaved ham. Etg was deeelicious! I din reali like d tiramisu tho, too much cream n v.little sponge :( But d sponge was soaked in d wheat beer n it was nice :)
Little boy is so sweet *hapi sigh* :) It's been so long since he was last off d whole wkend :P I forgot hw much I miss spending Sats wif him :)

Little boy abandoned me to go find chickens wif his frds but I still had a hapi nite cos I went to 2 places I wanted 2 go n met a long lost frd! :) Dinnie wif gz at Raffles City, he said I shd b touched tt he left work early to meet me :P Actuali ya, I m la..dis ding dong can work for 15 hrs de, asking him to knock off on time is usuali mission impossible :P
Mum mum at Shokudo, it's a Jap style Marché. Luckily we were 5 mins early, after we got a seat, d queue to get in was unbelievably long!!
Foodies!!! After we started eating, he said, "actuali hor, I jus had Jap ytd lehh.." #_-''' Say so earlier laaaa, den we can eat smtg else maaaa =/
I waited 10 mins for d tempura -.-''' He thot I lost my way =/ We were actuali not v.hungry but after waiting for all d food, we gobbled dwn etg in secs :P Food taste jus alrite, ntg reali special. We liked d sashimi best - 5 thick fresh slices :) Yumi!! :D Total bill was abt $36 for both of us..quite reasonable la :)
To ChaCha after tt! :D I read abt dis cafe in a mag - it serves matcha in all forms! So interesting :D N we din haf to hunt ard for it cos it's rite beside Shokudo (:
I had a mint matcha n he had d lychee 1. Haha, d drinks were not v.nice :P His had no lychee taste, mine was too sweet :( D black sesame cakie was nice nice tho..for me, tt is :P Gz doesnt like red beans n d cakie was full of red beans :D :D Since I obviously canot finish n he is v.v.against wasting food, he had to swallow it all, oopies :P
Walked ard for awhile cos we needed to digest our too heavy dinnie. Walk walk walk n I met Clint! :D Haven talked to him since I left Oc except a few times via sms. Seeing him brot back reali nice mems of my 1 yr+ in Oc. Of d 3 jobs I have so far, I tink I njoyed my time in Oc best. Tho d job sucked (which job doesnt?), I was d happiest wen I was working dere :) D late nite suppies, gossiping abt collegs n bitching abt custs, ktv til d wee hrs, nv-ending drinking sessions, running on d roads chasing after buses etc. It was a lot of fun :) N d ppl dere reali helped mi walk outta d nitemare tt I was in (: Best of all? I met my little boy (^^,)

Wat do u guys tink abt dis: A married guy telling anor ger he misses her.
Dis guy is not being unfaithful to his wife. In fact, he loves her v.v.much. But smhw, dis otr ger is alwys a little special to him (so he says) even tho she's v.much attached to her bf. He alwys tells her she's v.pretty, asks her if her bf is gd to her n wans to mk sure she's hapi.
Frm dis otr ger's perspective, he's jus being a nice frd. But frm d wife's view, hmm..tink she wldn't b too hapi if she knew? Oh, did I mention he used to like dis otr ger a lot b4?
I noe if little boy ever told anor ger, esp if it's sm1 he liked b4, tt he misses her, I'll prob pull out his hair strand by strand n den glue them all on his face n den pull them out again strand by strand not b too hapi abt it, even if he doesnt mean it in a unfaithful sense. I need to noe tt my guy has onli me in his heart :) Hmm, I guess I can make a little space for his mum oso la :P
But wat u dono wun hurt u rite? :) Hee, I guess e1 has his/her own way of tinkg :) If some ppl can insist on marrying a guy whom she noes love sm1 else more dan herself, well, I guess nitg is possible den :P

Not reali in d mood of blogging lately, or mb it's cos my life is getting boringer? :P I'm v.bz watching 古灵精探 but little boy wans mi to blog so here I m, 1 eye on d tv, 1 eye on my lappie :) B4 I forget, my sweet little boy bot me a Bret Hart dvd! :D :D N he hid it under my pillie so I saw it onli wen I was gg to slp. I smiled in my slp d whole nite after tt :D
Weekend was eventful :D Sat evening was spent wif the piggies, steamieboat at Shaw Tower den ktv at Shenton Way PartyWorld :) Little boy picked mi after his work n we shared a nice warm filet burgie frm Mac (:
Met the good ol' buddies on Sun evening. Went to d ramen pl tt I've read many good reviews abt at Central. We reached dere at ard 615pm n had to wait for almst an hr!!!
As d rest had not reached, Di n I grew bored n she wanted to take pictys of her new short hair :D Finali got our seats, luckily our foodies were served fast :P
All of us ordered d set - 1 ramen + 1 bowl of rice + 1 eggie. Little boy n I were smart, we ordered 1 to share n alrd canot finish :P Servings were reali huge! Foodie was jus so-so, or mb my expectations were too high =/ D soup base was v.flavorful but a little too salty. In fact, etg was too salty -.-''' Esp d side order of pig cheek, each slice was tender but had like a whole pkt of salt in it =/ I reali liked d salmon don! D salmon roe was wonderful :D It was still early so we skipped over TCC for coffee :)
Had drinks n dessies, ntg much to scream abt, not v.nice. D guys were talking abt diamonds cos Ter jus bot his gf fiancee a big diamond proposal ring :P Parted ard 10pm cos Di cldnt stand d noise of d blending machine n we were all smelling like chickie wings alrd #.- Little boy n I came homie, I cont'd watching my show show n he watched cartoons on his lappie :)
My hp alarm woke him up at 730am dis morn *giggle :P* n he cldnt get back to slp after tt. He wokie to watch his cartoon while I slpt :D To tbp to watch moowee!! I wanted to watch Ironman but he knew I said tt onli cos he wans to watch, so he refused to buy tix :(
Dis show is funi! :D 2 drunk strangers got married in Vegas n coincidentally hit d jackpot d day after wen dey wanted to break up. Judge froze d $ n sentenced them to 6 mths of marriage b4 they can split d $ equally. It was hilarious seeing them try to make each otr back out 1st :D But of cos, in d end dey got tgt :)
We had abt 40 mins b4 our next show so had a drinkie n snack..
Dis 1 was quite predictable. Guy n ger were best frds for 10 yrs n ger alwys had a crush on d guy but he was a big big flirt who slps ard. She goes Scotland for work, he sudd realises hw impt she is to him n wanted to tell her hw he feels wen she comes back. Who noes, she brings a fiance back wif her n even asks him to b her maid of honour :P Guy trys to break d marriage n lalala...happily ever after :)
To little boy's hse for dinnie after tt den homie le. Today's a romantic day cos we watched 2 romantic comedies :D But hmm, end of d long weekend alrd :( Back to workie tmr le *sulks* Oh well, at least little boy's not on afternoon shift le n I can go workie wif him tmr! :D
