I was so damn pissed off wif Singtel tt I wrote in to ST Forum 2 days ago..

Subject: Extremely appalling service from Singtel

I am appalled at the extremely poor service with Singtel repeatedly over the past 2 months and am seriously contemplating changing service providers after this utterly exasperating experience.

To cut a very long story short, 5 officers from Singtel call centre had given me wrong information, resulting in my bills showing outstanding amounts which they had assured me time and time again that I am not liable for. I sent emails to Singtel asking what exactly is going on, there were no replys. I asked for a manager to call me back the next day, the officer who was suppose to arrange for that called me back a week later, after I called again, to say that she never did promise to get a manager to call me back.

After a whole month, nothing was done, only that same officer insisting that the previous officers never told me what I am very sure they did, which was to inform me of the incorrect amount for payment. I refused to speak to her anymore and asked for a manager to call me back and this time, I made very sure she got my correct message. A duty manager called me back 3 days later, on a Sunday, and again, assured me that she has spoken to the new account holder and the transfer will be done and that I will not be charged any late fee for that.

Even though I was still very unhappy as this has taken up a lot of my time and energy with all the calls and having to repeat my story at least 5 times, I decided to let the matter rest since this duty manager had already promised that everything is settled.

2 weeks later, I received a reminder letter for the o/s amount which the duty manager had promised me was transferred. I called up the call centre again, for the 6th or 7th time, spoke to a male officer this time, who had very professionally taken over the case and said he'll check and call me back in 2 days time, even though he could've easily told me that he'll get the duty manager to call me back. Despite my extreme frustrations, I was rather impressed. Unfortunately, today is the 4th day and I still have not receive any calls from Singtel.

To-date, it has been 2 mths since I did the transfer and I'm still seeing this o/s under my name. Apparently it seems that no one in Singtel is interested to resolve this matter. I used to be quite confident with Singtel's service but after this terrible experience, I am no longer convinced that Singtel is a good service provider.

Resolve bill issue please


MY SINGTEL bills for the past two months showed outstanding amounts which I was not responsible for. I called the SingTel call centre and was assured by the officers there that I was not liable for the charges.

When this was not rectified, I sent messages by e-mail and made calls to the call centre staff at least five times and each time, I was told that a senior officer would call me back to attend to my predicament. But no one did.

A duty manager finally called to assure me that the matter would be resolved. However, I have just received a reminder letter to pay the outstanding amounts. It's time SingTel settle this problem once and for all.

Tt was it. My gdness!!!! Does dis look nitg like wat I wrote?? AT ALL?? Does dis note sound like d writer had been (n is still being) traumatized by d stupid Singtel for 2 mths?!?! NO IT DOES NOT!! *ROARS!!!* Sighs, but ya, I shd b glad tt dey at least put it on d forum rite? Hope Singtel reali gifs me a good explanation n end dis stupid tg once n for all. FYI, if u r interested - it's d 5th day after d "professional" male officer is supp 2 call me back but still, not a peep frm him. Amazing rite? =/

N to add on 2 my frustrations, today work was crazy. If I'm bz cos of d tgs I haf 2 do, fine, I cant say nitg. But all dese r not even my job!! Some stupid ppl r too lazy to do so etg v.simply, "ask Francine to do dis..ask Francine to do tt..." KNS! Ownself sit dere n surf net loh!!!!
