Often ppl ask me y don I haf a religion. I did. But growing up, wen I needed God most, I was alwys alone. Until I gaf up on religion n took tgs in my own stride, I felt better. Mb it was d change of perspective twds certain tgs, mb it was d change of expectation of certain tgs..I dono. I jus felt better.
My heart feels v.heavy tonite. I don reali noe wat's d objective of dis post. I jus feel a need to rant. Rant abt tgs I don understand, rant abt tgs I don haf control over, rant abt tgs tt simply don make any sense. If God reali exists, den y do bad tgs happen to good ppl? Y do gd tgs happen to bad ppl??
I feel v.helpless even tho the fact hasn't even registered in my head. I feel so useless.........
For d 1st time in many yrs, I'm praying again. I'm praying for strength, I'm praying for a miracle. I reali dono wat else I can do...........

8 days passed in a flash n little boy's parents r back frm Taiwan n I cant play 家家酒 wif him nimore :( He has gone to d airport to fetch them while I'm back homie tryin 2 find tgs to do =/ Went for breakie wif him dwnstairs his pl, at dis famous lor mee stall. D whole coffeeshop was packed!! N u noe hw long we had 2 wait? At least half an hr -.-''' We finished reading d Sunday Times while waiting..
Nice anot ah? Hmm, it is indeed 1 of d nicest I've eaten but I still prefer d 1 at my grandparents' hse. I'm biased la, cos tt 1 got fishie meat :P D lor mee here come wif thick gravy which was quite nice n d vinegar was free flow, u can add as much as u wan :) Instd of jus d usual deep fried ngor hiang u find in all lor mees, dey oso gif u a deep fried wanton, you tiao n spring roll! Not too bad for a $2.50 breakie :) However, don tink I'll b dere often cos I cant reali stand d long wait =/
I dono if it was me but after getting stuck in d stupid jam on Fri which I thot couldnt get any worse, I found myself in an even worse 1 ytd, wif little boy at d wheel dis time #.-''' It took us almst 2 hrs to get frm Lakeside to Balestier *cries* Not onli tt, d PIE was closed due to some truck overturning -.-''' So e1 had to exit b4 tt, which caused all d roads at Bukit Timah to be jammed as well! Wat's more, d traffic din ease until 1130pm which meant wen we came home, d roads were still jammed!!! *cries louder*
We finali reached Shaw Towers slightly after 7pm, wif our movie at 735pm -.-''' We had planned for a leisure dinnie at 1 of d duckie/chickie rice shops ard dere but ended up hafg a v.rushed 1 at Suki Sushi jus beside d ticketing booth..
Tink Suki Sushi has undergone some revamping cos etg looks reali new n professional nw. Even d menu is so much prettier! Rushed in for our movie, jus in time ;) I don understand y dis show is onli M18 wen it even has frontal nudity -.-''' Little boy asked me y I brot him to c such shows :P Hw I noe?? I thot it's a comedy maaa :D Niwae, story is abt Kumar who brot drugs on board d plane wen he accompanied Harold to Amsterdam to find his gf. He got mistaken for a terrorist cos of his skin color n both of them were thrown into prison. Dey tried to escape to seek d help of some political guy who happens to b marrying Kumar's ex-gf but tt backfired n dey somehw met d president instd n were freed. D whole story is jus hilarious :D Can watch if u want some laughs (:

Greetings little 1s :) Not many words 2dae cos I wana go dwnstairs n surprise little boy after I blog - he's washing car car nw :) We went Geylang for dinnie wif my parents after he knocked off ytd. It was a mistake to ask my dad to go cos almst e'road leading to Geylang was jammed n my dad cldnt stop complaining abt it -.-''' N ya, it took us 1.5 hrs to get frm Lakeside to Geylang *cries*
We reached at almst 8pm, poor little boy had been prancing d streets dere by himself for an hr + :P I warned him to keep his hands n eyes to himself n guai guai wait for us to come :P Which he did :D I was so hungry tt I got carried away ordering..
Luckily almst etg was nice, if nt my dad would've boxed me for asking him 2 drive for 1.5 hrs dere to eat not nice foodie :P D fishie noodie was wonderful! So fragrant n d fishie, v.fresh :D I onli din like d har gao - skin was not bouncy enuff n dey mixed meat in d filling, dunch like. Ohoh, n I jus realised I din take a photie of d lo han zai wrap ): It's 1 of d nicest dish, inside all vege, wif a dou gee wrap. Reali nice :) N u noe wat's d best part of d dinnie??
I couldnt't believe d price! I expected at least $50 but it was onli $36.10!! I kept reading d receipt over n over to make sure they din miss out any items :P It's like almst 1/10 d price of Wah Lok, and it was much much nicer! Can go back dere again ;) Mee mee loved d foodie so much she bot more char siew bao n eggie tarts etc b4 we left :P Went for beanie curd after tt den dee dee fetched us homie :)
Brunchie 2dae was at Central Paisley & Cream. I had a craving for pancakes/waffles so little boy brot me here. We reached at 10am, took us half an hr to find d pl #.- It's actuali outside d shopping centre, opp Cheers =/ It opens at 11am, so we went to BK for a drink 1st..
Food was alrite, ntg special. Little boy's waffies tasted like pancakes, kinda weird ^.- Dere were onli 2 slices of d smoked salmon which had quite a fishy taste :( No nice nice. I tink d specialty of dis pl is..
So pretty hor??? :D :D Even tho I was reali full, I cldnt resist getting 1 :P N I chose d prettiest 1 of all - pinkie buttiefly wif blue dots ;) D waiter was laughing wen I told him to gif me tt specific 1 :P Taste was quite normal, a little too sweet for me, little boy had to finish most of it :P Nice ambience, cos we were d onli custs :P But d food is not reali worth tt price..don tink we'll go back dere again..

Tks to little ant, I watched dis show for free! N thank gdness it was free..if I had to pay $10 to watch dis show, I mite've cried..
Not to say d show was bad, mb I m jus not artistic enuff to appreciate it. Serene asked hw come dis show can b 2 hr long, my reply to her was "cos etg was slow - d dialogue, d action, d dance, everything." Reali, it was. U can literally feel d 3 sec pause in btn qn n ans, esp wen d Korean guy speaks. N for a dance show, there was hardly any dance. But Fann Wong looked quite gd la :P Ohoh, n we saw her, d Korean guy n Robin Leong, who is d director of d show, b4 d screening :) Little ant was v.hapi :D

U noe, it's a good tg I went China n met nice ppl dere. Otherwise, if I were to judge all China ppl base on hyena, I tink I'd haf hated China to d very core. I wonder hw she managed to get this position in dis co., I reali reali don understand.
As a boss, she..jus sux la. Don gif clear instructions n push all d blame 2 newcomers wen smtg goes wrong, insists she din say smtg wen e1 heard her say it (cos her voice is damn loud n irritating) etc. As a subordinate, she talks bad abt her bosses but acts like damn gd frd in front of them; at least I don like her I show it in her face. As a person, she has attitude, character etc etc problems. I m jus v.v.glad I'm no longer in her dept n m praying hard for d new ger 2 quickly start work so tt I donid 2 haf nitg else 2 do wif her! Jus talking abt her can mk my blood boil!! *ROARS!!!*

Dere've been v.mixed reviews abt dis show, some ppl liking it, some critizing it like mad. For me, d starting was quite alrite..until d village ppl in China n even d deities started spkg in English. Sounds super weird loh..made d whole show v.awkward, at least to me la. Jackie Chan was quite funi in d show :) But bs tt n d action, dere was ntg much to look out for..

I was so damn pissed off wif Singtel tt I wrote in to ST Forum 2 days ago..
I am appalled at the extremely poor service with Singtel repeatedly over the past 2 months and am seriously contemplating changing service providers after this utterly exasperating experience.
To cut a very long story short, 5 officers from Singtel call centre had given me wrong information, resulting in my bills showing outstanding amounts which they had assured me time and time again that I am not liable for. I sent emails to Singtel asking what exactly is going on, there were no replys. I asked for a manager to call me back the next day, the officer who was suppose to arrange for that called me back a week later, after I called again, to say that she never did promise to get a manager to call me back.
After a whole month, nothing was done, only that same officer insisting that the previous officers never told me what I am very sure they did, which was to inform me of the incorrect amount for payment. I refused to speak to her anymore and asked for a manager to call me back and this time, I made very sure she got my correct message. A duty manager called me back 3 days later, on a Sunday, and again, assured me that she has spoken to the new account holder and the transfer will be done and that I will not be charged any late fee for that.
Even though I was still very unhappy as this has taken up a lot of my time and energy with all the calls and having to repeat my story at least 5 times, I decided to let the matter rest since this duty manager had already promised that everything is settled.
2 weeks later, I received a reminder letter for the o/s amount which the duty manager had promised me was transferred. I called up the call centre again, for the 6th or 7th time, spoke to a male officer this time, who had very professionally taken over the case and said he'll check and call me back in 2 days time, even though he could've easily told me that he'll get the duty manager to call me back. Despite my extreme frustrations, I was rather impressed. Unfortunately, today is the 4th day and I still have not receive any calls from Singtel.
To-date, it has been 2 mths since I did the transfer and I'm still seeing this o/s under my name. Apparently it seems that no one in Singtel is interested to resolve this matter. I used to be quite confident with Singtel's service but after this terrible experience, I am no longer convinced that Singtel is a good service provider.

Resolve bill issue please
MY SINGTEL bills for the past two months showed outstanding amounts which I was not responsible for. I called the SingTel call centre and was assured by the officers there that I was not liable for the charges.
When this was not rectified, I sent messages by e-mail and made calls to the call centre staff at least five times and each time, I was told that a senior officer would call me back to attend to my predicament. But no one did.
A duty manager finally called to assure me that the matter would be resolved. However, I have just received a reminder letter to pay the outstanding amounts. It's time SingTel settle this problem once and for all.

Well, d sauce he made was wonderful but d v.smart me chose a funi wholemeal pasta tt jus wouldnt cook!! =/ Sighs, if not dis would b d best pastie little boy ever made :( After d meal, he refused to let us wash d plates n washed etg himself :( I wanted 2 help but he shoo-ed me away. After almst 3 hrs, he's finali done, n v.v.tired...

Aloooha little 1s :) I'm blogging frm little boy's homie cos his parents r away on a trippie n I've moved over here for a week. Wee! :D Good news 1st :) Grandpapa is homie n well nw (: Of cos dere's still the report nxt week to dread for but well, watever d result will b, we haf mental prep to accept it n do all we can to help grandpapa overcome it. But of cos, we r all still praying hard tt etg will b fine :)
Finali went out wif little boy to walk walk ytd after visiting my grandparents at homie. We went Couduroy for a bite b4 our movie (:
Little boy was v.notti. He's hafg a v.bad cough n wen I asked him to stop eating d sweet dessies, he jus snatched it back frm me n cont'd eating =/ I almst din wana tok 2 him. Nihoows, movie after d bite..
I kinda liked d lead actor. He was frm 2 Guys, A Girl & a Pizza Pl - a sitcom frm way back. In dis show, he's a guy who's facing a divorce n his dottie asked him to tell her abt his past r/ships n hw he met her mom. Thru dis story, he slowly realises who his true love is, after so many yrs. D little girl is reeeali cute n pretty. Tink she'll grow up to b quite a beauty :)
Dinnie at d quite newly opened Wood Restaurant at level 1 of Vivi. It supposedly uses wood to cook everything. Little boy has to treat his boss tmr so we went dere to be guinea piggies 1st :P
We totali loved d thick slabs of smoked salmon sashimi! D white creamy sauce had a tinge of wasabi but not overpowering. D grilled asparagus had a wonderful woody taste! Little boy couldn't stop raving abt it, n it onli cost $9! :D Potato wedges were nice wif a strong garlic flavor. D foie gras pizzie was mmm~ Each piece had a few bits of foie gras tt melts in ur mouth. My onli pickle is tt dere was abit too much sauce tt made d pizzie abit too sweet. Food overall was quite good, even d complimentary naan wif olive oil was tasty :) Price-wise however...hmmm, not v.cheap :P But hey, UOB n Citibank credit card got 15% discount ;)
Homie after tt cos little boy had to rest. Poor boy kept sniffing n coughing non-stop d whole day but refuses 2 go c a doc #.- So my parents n I kept fussing over him d whole wkend wif vitamins, herbal tea n cough drops :P
Woke up real early 2dae to send his parents n sis to d airport cos dey were gg to Taiwan!!!! I wana go toooooo!!!!! Had lunchie dere den homie le cos d poor boy could barely kp his eyes open ): Slpt d whole afternoon, went IMM for dinnie..
Food was quite normal, he kept complaining abt d asparagus cos it cost $7.50 n d taste was nowhere near d 1s we had at Wood Restaurant :P D noodie of my beef brisket was quite horrible - soggy n kinda cold =/ Plus...
Look at these 3 big pieces of fats!!!! My gdness!!!! Dere was barely any beef in my noodie!! All fats! -.-!!!! To gif them credit, d little bits of beef tt dere were, dey actuali tasted quite good. But ya, I'll nv order tt again -.-''' My water cress with honey drink was nice tho, n d almond jelly was quite good too.
Little boy went for a haircut while I walked ard to find some fish escence for grandpapa. Shopped a little at Giant cos he wants to cook dinnie tmr den homie le. Tt's d end of my wkend :) Hope u guys njoyed urs too ;) Haf a nice week ahead little 1s! Nite nite! :)

Little boy was reali sweet ytd. He was supp 2 haf din wif his collegs but he popped up in front of me at d hospital instd :) I treated him to a nice nice dinnie (nice, compared to d foodie court la) at Delifrance but he ended paying $10 cos I din wana use up all my new notes which serial nos were in running order :P Yep, we do silly tgs like tt (:
Hmm, delifrance is getting v.exp. $33+ for 2 sets of microwaved dinners. I wasnt reali in an eating mood but I can rem d soup n fish being room temp instd of pipping hot. D sauce on d fish was nice, v.garlicky wif bits of juicy tomatoes. Mash was buttery, I cld taste a v.distinct milky taste in it. D sausie on his macaroni n cheese was not bad. Cake sux - super sweet! I could barely swallow 1 bite -.-'''
Ntg much else to update, been spending all my evenings in d hospital dis week. It's Thurs le, 1 more day to d weekend! :)

I spent d 1st few yrs of my life growing up at my grandparents' hse. Dere was a bicycle shop dwnstairs, I rem, my grandpapa used 2 bring mi dwn to look at them v.often. I loved bicycles. Small 4-wheeled 1s, toy trishaws, d type tt has a seat at d back n u can pretend u r ferrying ppl by putting dolls on it. I had them all. Grandpapa would buy every 1 tt I wanted n I'd happily lug it upstairs wif him n ride ard their tiny 3 room hdb flat (: Of cos wif my gdmama grumbling tt my bikes r takin up all d space in d hse :P
It's a tiny flat. 8 ppl living in a 3 room flat is no joke but I loved it. I loved d cosiness, d noise n d many ppl spueezing on mattresses on d floor at nite.
I was d 1st grandchild in d family n had all d love n attention of e1. I rem hw grandpapa wld buy me a duck drumstick wen he came hm frm work, hw he'd buy me toys n pencil boxes, d type tt has many hidden compartments which will pop out wen u press certain buttons. Tinkg back, none of d tgs he bot me was cheap. N hafg to support a big family then, I nw wonder hw he managed 2 buy so many tgs for me.
So many yrs haf passed, I'm no longer grandpapa's fave grandchild. I haf dis cute little teddy bear-loving cuzzie who looks a little like him :) He's v.attached to grandpapa cos he's been taking care of him since he was a little baby. He's so close to him tt he wears grandpapa's pants :D I cldnt stop laughing wen I heard d story frm my aunt, his mom :D
But I noe grandpapa still loves me :) He still asks me wat I wana eat wenever he sees me n I'll ask him to fry his special maggi mee wif lots of chilli which I love so much :) He'd gladly oblige n happily fry lots of it for me :) Grandpapa is a great cook n cooking for us is his way of showing his love :)
Grandmama told me tt wen they were younger, grandpapa's temper was v.bad. Used 2 get in2 terrible moods wenever he was drunk, which was quite often. He loves to drink. He used to drink at least a bottle of stout e'nite, nowadays he drinks 1 can per nite. He eats etg, which explains his big roung tum tum :P but he nv got sick. In my whole 25 yrs, I've nv heard of him being sick. He's alwys d 1 who takes care of e1 else wen we were sick. Actuali, I don even rem him hafg a stand of white hair. In my mind, he's alwys been tt young, chubby, dark-haired, black-framed spec guy who brot me to put paper boats in d drains at Telok Blangah Green n watch them flow away.
I visited him at d hospital last nite. He's been admitted cos dere's water in his lungs :( Wen I saw him, I realised..as I was racing against time everyday at work, at play, I forgot to stop n look at him. He's no longer tt young, chubby, dark-haired, black-framed spec guy who brot mi to d drains at Telok Blangah Green. His hair r all white n dere r many fine lines on his face nw.
But underneath d white hair n wrinkles, it is still d grandpapa who dotes on me so much, d grandpapa whom I love so much. Get well soon, grandpapa. I wan u to fry me maggi mee wif lots of chilli again :) N I wana bring u n grandmama out to mum mum again :)

Beanie n I r v.broke so we dec'd nt 2 spend 2 much on our "healthy" date 2dae. Original plan was to go Hilton hotel to share a cheesiecake den to AMK for according to her, d nicest prata she's ever tasted. However, our plan nv came to be, as alwys :P
Beanie cldnt stop chanting "I'm v.hungry I'm v.hungry I'm v.hungry..." n I told her if she din stop, I'd ask d chef to cook her n she can eat herself. We dec'd 2 order slightly more dan jus a piece of cake :P While waiting 4 our food, she grumbled hw come dere's contact pic for sms on my hp while hers don haf. So I taught her hw 2 do it n ta-dah!!!!
After 1 yr+ of using SE phones, she finali has contact pic!!! (: Duh. Nihoos, our foodies arrived!! :D
We had free-flow seaweed in a tequila glass. We managed 2 finish 1 glass after quite abit of difficulty n dey promptly replaced d empty glass wif anor full 1!! *faintz* My honey cooler had no alchol taste at all wen it's supp 2 haf vodka while her mojito was like rum neat wif a lot of lime :P Cheesie cake was nice but we din find it reali nitg special. Tiramisu was nt too bad. Of cos tt was not all..
Tempura!!! Dis was nice nice!! Prawns n lady's fingies in a light n crisp batter, wen dipped in d accompanying sauce...yum! Wedges n samosas were normal but managed 2 fill our tum tums (: After all dose food n drinks + seaweed, we were 2 full for prata le :P We called for d bill n dey gaf us tweets which I stuffed in2 her hp pouch :D

Foodies!! After so many rave reviews, I tink my expectations were too high cos hmm, tho good, it wasnt as fantastic as I expected :P
D salad was my fave dish! Spinach leaves n a whole portobello nicely grilled n doused in vinegar n olive oil - yumilicious!! Soup was quite light, wif bits of mushie in e'spoonful. I had d pasta n d prawn it came wif was huge!! However, it wasnt v.v.fresh cos d shell kinda stuck to d meat n little boy had a hard time peeling it for me. Dere were 5 mussels tho, each 1 quite big n juicy so tt was not bad. D texture of d pasta was gd, springy n garlicky. Dere were even slices of garlic in it!! I like tt in aglio olio (: Overall nice but I jus thot if it was a little spicer, it'd b better.
Little boy alwys orders medium-well but d ribeye came medium-rare dis time, d way I like it :P It was not bad, my onli complain is dere were slightly too much fats in it. D butter mash was good n it oso came wif a side of portobello mushies, no vinegar, jus grilled wif a nice slight charred taste :) D tiramisu sux tho, n it din help tt was d onli dessie dey had o.O'''
Bill worked out to $35.50 for etg which was considerably cheap for Italian food of dis quality n quantity (: Rushed to Vivi for moowee as it was almst 7pm n our show was at 720 :P
Great show!!! If onli dey taught history dis way in school, I wldnt haf had such a hard time tryin 2 barely pass my exams :P I don reali noe hw 2 review so if u guys wan, pls read it frm here. Definitely worth a watch (: Little boy n I were debating who d king reali loved - Anne or Mary. I said Mary, he said Anne. Wanted 2 gif my grandparents a long overdue treat after I got my bonus in Jan. I asked mee mee 2 arrange wif both of them, she arranged a lunchie for 16 ppl instd -.-''' After a long consideration, little boy n I dec'd to bring them to Wah Lok restaurant at Carlton Hotel cos we went dere b4 n the dim sum was v.gd. However, it was not d case 2dae, d meal was rather disappointing.
We ordered many items n it's hard for me to review them 1 by 1 so here's a collage of etg we had..
D onli few dishes I liked - cabbage (big pic on top left hand corner) was soft n fragrant, d soupie was nice nice too. Chickie claws (top right hand corner of small pic below cabbage) were good too, we ordered 3 servings n dey were snapped up almst immediately. Tasted kinda like my fave 1s at Red Star cos d sauce soaked right thru d skin, in2 d bones. Mango pomelo sago (top right hand corner of small pic at bottom centre) was good but some of d pomelo were bitter -.- My cuzzie who had d almond paste (pic directly below mango pomelo sago) said it was good but I din try.
Ya, so tt was abt all. D rest were jus so-so, or mb jus nt reali to my taste. After a $329 lunchie (which little boy shared cos he wanted 2 treat them too :) n mee mee sponsored abit cos she added anor 10 ppl to d attendance), I was still quite hungry @.-''' We r gg to hunt for d pastie place at Ghim Moh 2nite n dis time, we wun gif up so easily again!
