The 1 person I tried d hardest to protect, is d 1 person I end up hurting d most. He said he doesnt blame me but I feel so bad. D words broke my heart but still, we all noe dere's ntg more ni1 of us can do.

A lot of "u shd haf..", "if onli u had..". But wat use is it talking abt it nw? Sighs. 命运喜欢作弄人. Since u said u haf no choice, watever. I don wish 2 hear nimore. Pls jus stop it.

Tks for ur generous understanding, ur patience n ur acceptance of who I m. Until 2dae, I still cant figure out wat I've ever done to deserve such a wonderful guy like u. I'm reali looking forward 2 spending d rest of my life wif u :) N I'll nv let u go *hugs*

Day 4: Nanjing - Wuxi

1st venue of the day was 长江大桥, located beside d historical 长江 itself. Wen we got 2 d top of d bridge, I cld literally feel d wind cutting into my cheekbones. Freeeaking cold!!!! I had 2 cover up my face n looked like a brown 2-legged turtie -_-

I tink d river n d crowded expressway make a v.nice backdrop to d bridge :) Went dwnstairs 2 look at their paintings. Dere was dis guy called 高远，he's an artist n he had supposedly helped in d structuring n building of 长江大桥. Small fishie said back in those days, he donated etg he had 2 raise funds to build d bridge. So he's v.famous in Nanjing n e1 looks up to him. I reali liked some of his works..




He's apparently well known for his horse drawings n I cld c y. D pictures r drawn frm d inside so d outsides r smooth. I liked d bottles in d top row but dey cost like S$100+ each! D globe types r cheaper (ard S$50 each) cos dey r easier 2 draw. We bot a few of d chinese zodiac 1s :)

We cld take pics wif d master himself but canot on flash cos his eyesight is alrd failing n d flash will damage it further. D room was alrd quite dark so onli d 1 pic I took of my dad wif him turned out nice nice ;)

On to 莫愁湖 after tt..

Dis is a statue of 莫愁姑娘. Her story is d onli 1 I can reali rem :P She married a rich man n moved 2 his residence (which was where we visited). Dey were v.hapi but soon, he was called off to fight in d war. She sat by d lake n looked 2wds south (I tink) everyday n waited for his return. But he nv did. She kept tinkg of becoming a puddle of water so tt she can flow in2 dis lake n merge wif 长江 n flow 2 d war site where he husband was. 想着想着, she reali bc a puddle of water n flowed in2 d lake. Hwever, wen her neighbour came 2 visit her n realized she was in d lake, she pleaded wif her nt 2 go to 长江 as dis will cause it 2 flood n destroy d town. 莫愁姑娘 was a v.kind hearted lady n she agreed nt to do so n stayed in d lake instd. D town ppl built a statue in her remembrance n til 2dae, it's believed tt her spirit is still in dis lake. Quite a story eh? :P

Anor beautiful ancient house wif pretty flowers all over :) To a jade-making factory after tt. For d 1st time, we did nt buy nitg :P After an awful lunch, we were on our way to Wuxi :)

I find d chinese character of Wuxi quite interesting - 无锡. Looks cute la :P We went to 三国城, where Romance of 3 Kingdoms was filmed. It's built ard 太湖, anor famous lake in Wuxi..

Dere was a performance on d field, where dey play out an actual war scene! I stood where d guys charged out on horsies n managed 2 get up close n a little 2 personal (wen d stupid horses flicked mud onto my shoes n jeans =/) wif them...

After d show, we took a short ride on d warship. Ntg much to c on it cos d skies were quite foggy due 2 d cold weather. D scenery ard d lake was much nicer :)

After 3 days of horrible food, we finali had a decent meal at a Thai-Indian fusion restaurant. As I was walking in, I saw some big juicy oysties on display n cldn't help tinkg if little boy was dere, he'd definitely wana eat them :P So I took a picty to show him :)



After din was shopping at Parkson shopping centre. Yea, d no-brand-but-etg-is-freaking-expensive shopping centre -.-''' But hee, I found Breadtalk!! :D



I immediately bot enuff bread 2 last me for d nxt 2 days, in preparation for more inedible food. My mom said I was crazy :P Walked ard d supermarket n saw their Lays potato chippie display..

Dere were at least 10 diff types!!!! Cucumber, lime, lychee, teriyaki chicky, salmon etc etc!!! N all d packagings were so colorful!! :D :D Haas, I was reali quite amazed :P Back 2 hotel at ard 10pm for a much needed rest n tawing of my frozen limbs. Tt was pretty much it for day 4. Half dwn, half more to go :)
