I was bored ytd so went 2 rent dvds..
Dis show reminded me alot of A Walk To Remember. Boy meets ger, falls in love, ger has some terminal illness, tried 2 leave d guy, guy finds out, refuses 2 leave her, spends last few days wif her, ger died in d end, leaving d male lead sad n alone. Ntg much interesting.
Den I watched The Perfect Catch. Nt tt dis show was specially nice but I found it quite meaningful.
She's a top executive waiting 4 a promotion, he's a school teacher who's strangely obsessed wif dis baseball team called The Red Sox. Dey fell in love n at 1st, his love 4 d team was not a prob, until he starts standing her up on dates n showing more concern whether d team wins or loses n she begins 2 slack in her work cos she has 2 acc him 2 d games. Dere was once d baseball hit her rite on d head n he was bz high-fiving e1 cos he got d ball n din even noticed she was hurt.
Finali she cldnt take it n dey broke up. Den he saw d players eatin dinner at a restaurant happily chatting away wen dey were losing d championship while he n his frds were totali upset n cldnt even eat. He sudd realized hw silly he's been cos no matter hw much he loved d Red Sox, dey nv loved him back n d 1 who did, he neglected. N while he was losing slp over d games, d players themselves din even care cos 2 them, it was jus a job. He tried 2 win her back by selling all his box seats tix n wen she found out, she gaf up her promotion 2 stop him :)
It got me tinkg wen I was younger, hw passionate I was abt Bret Hart. I wld quarel wif family if dey touched my posters, break frdships if my frds critized him, I cldnt accept any guy who had probs wif me liking him. Bf no. 1 said b4 tt he'd buy me nitg in d world except nitg wif his face but d onli tg I reali wanted den was dis Bret Hart book (which he did get me in d end la :P). Bf no. 2 went totali crazy. At 1st I thot he was jus jealous but wen he felt tt way abt all my otr guy frds, I realized tt was actuali a posessiveness prob.
I guess as u grow up, u'll straighten out ur priorities. I noe I did; I'm no longer tt crazy over him but I still look up 2 him as a role model n still buy all of his stuff. I wun break up wif my bf if he was jealous of him (little boy shd thk his lucky star stars :D)
Alrighty, end of my redundant post (yep, Janet's on leave again). 2 more hrs 2 knocking off. Hate Mondays *sulks* Njoy counting dwn 2 wkend again, little 1s :)
