I've been eating cake almst edae dis wk -.-''' Bdaes + ppl gifg us xmas cake in office. 2dae's 1 was frm HSBC - it was dis v.pretty choco cake frm I cant rem d where..nice nice!! I was in a meetin wen dey cut it n Shirley reserved d 1 n onli tawbellie n sugar Santa 4 me! :)
Din wif dear dear at Sun With Moon after work. He went 2 d IT fair 2 walk walk after lunching wif me n I told him 2 buy smtg he likes n I'll pay him back as part of his bdae pressie. But he din buy nitg 4 himself, ended up buying a memory card 4 me instd -.-''' Haas, so I dec'd 2 use d money 2 treat him 2 a nice nice din (:
I find tt d food was so so onli, nt as gd as wat ppl haf been tellin mi. Or mb my expectations were 2 high 2 start wif #.- We had d foie gras, which in my opinion was d best tasting dish..yumilicious! I cld jus eat like 3 trays of it :P
Sishamo wif fish roe on top. Not 2 bad, except d roe was a little 2 salty..
Dear's smtg smtg ramen frm d special Hokkaido menu..
My beef sukiyaki. Etg in it was delicious but d soup was 2 sweet!! Little boy said tt Jap food is sweet by nature -.- Nxt time I muz ask them 2 add less sugar =/ D beef, vege n eggies were all nice nice (: N dere was goldie mushies oso! :D
N of cos, deir so-called "must have" tofu cheesecake. D tofu cheese tgy is nt bad but d crust, again, 2 swt -.- I liked d presentation - it came on a plate wif a squarish cage :)

Ahhhh!!! Dis show is so pretty!! (: It's nt ur typical fairytale where d princess n prince live happily ever after tgt. D prince turned out 2 b sm1 else n d prince found his princess in anor ger as well. In d world of fairytale, d wicked witch dec'd 2 push d princess in2 a well, to a pl she calls "where dere's no happily ever after"...which is d real world. Quite true isnt it? But she met her real prince n stayed wif him instd of gg back wif her cartoon world groom (:
Tokg abt fairytales, I sudd thot of d 1 who alwys sang 童话 2 me. U noe hw dey say empty vessels make d most noise? He's prob 1 of d largest I've ever seen. Sailing desperately alongside wif him is anor equally huge 1, mkg even more noise. 1 canot stop lying, 1 refuses 2 face reality n conts 2 live in denial. Tt's wat I call a perfect match. Seoul Garden last nite wif d family!! I was in office til almst 7pm (surprise surprise) n was all ready 2 eat a whole cow (tiny 1 la - it's called calf rite??) wen I went dwn 2 mt them.
Seriously speaking, I tink d pl is a ripoff. Dey say $17.99++ per pax 4 d dinner. Usuali ++ means plus svc charge n gst onli but dis 1, d total bill will still plus $3 each for drinks n $6 for soup!!! -.-''' Bleh, no wonder I so long nv eat Seoul Garden le =/ Niwaes, din was fun (: Had quite a mishap wif d chao tar garlics at 1st but after tt we managed 2 cook nice nice mum mums :) Dey had dis coffee chicky tt was reali nice! After din, we were so so full n had 2 go walk walk. Where else but 2 go take pics at d big Xmas tree again? :D
Monkey was complaining tt my cam din haf tt angelic effect on her pic so I did a little editing n ta dah!!! U cant get nimore angelic dan dis ;) Since I was alrd at it... Last but not least... I like dis pic, it looks kinda like a postcard (: Alrighty! It was 1 of dose rare times wen I'm out wif Ter n still feel so healthy (: D genius went 2 eat Mos Burgie at 4+ pm wen he was mtg me 4 din at 6 ytd, soooo he cld onli haf congee :P He was supp 2 b sick niwae la, sooo.. My beefie noodie was nice nice!!! Spicy n garlicky plus d moo moo was tender n yumi!! :D Went shopping after tt. It feels wonderful spending so much n nt feel 心痛 at all! :P After mkg him walk 2 n fro Taka, we went 4 a drink at Coffee Club :)

Hee, we went 2 watch Fred Claus at Cine last Fri..
Quite a funi show, kinda reminds me of The Grim :P Fred's Santa's older bro n all his life, he's been overshadowed by him. He grew up a v.resentful guy n had cut off all contact wif his family. 1 Xmas, he needed a favor frm Santa n his younger bro's request is 4 him 2 go visit him at d North Pole. He obliged but messed up his whole toy factory, almst getting it shut dwn. But of cos in d end, etg worked out fine :)
Ytd, little boy finali brot me 2 The French Stall!! Heard many rave reviews abt dis pl, abt hw gd d french cusine is at much cheaper prices compared 2 normal french restaurants.
French food of cos muz haf red wine rite?? ;)
Appetizers were cheese platter n mussels in white wine sauce..
Mains were my salmon in red wine sauce n lotsa spinach (yum!) n his ribeye steak (:
Dessert - honey cheesy cake! D crust was soaked wif honey! Nice! :D
After din, went dwn 2 Clarke Quay 2 mt Ter, Brose n Di 4 a drink at The Pump Room. After a bottle of champagne, we dec'd 2 go chk out d new Lunar bar.
But ended up onli 3 of us were dere cos d otr 2 guys MIA-ed -.-''' A couple of cocktails, dear's coke :P
D live band wasnt 2 bad but d crowd jus wasnt rite; mb we were 2 early. Tt pl gaf me a deja vu of Cafe Del Mar #.- Niwae, both my buddies rn't feelin rite. Hurts me 2 c them upset ): Hope tgs work out 4 u 2 ya? :) I'm alwys jus a call or a drink away ;)
Went homie ard 12+ am, 3 of them went on 2 dlo. It's been a long time since I spent a whole Sat wif dear dear (: Ytd brot back tt simple hapi feeling.. *smilez*

I expected rantings, I expected anger, I nv expected silence. But smhw, silence was my ans n it created an eerie wave of peacefulness inside me. D sudden need 2 gasp 4 air earlier on is gone, so is d 500 tonne weight I've been carrying on my shoulder 4 so long.

It seems easy nw, I cld haf. But I'd nv wana experience tt sense of breathlessness, tt heartaching awaiting for d ans of silence.

Xmas is in d air. N Xmas came a little early 4 me dis yr, in d form of my little santa boy =) I went 2 giraffe's hse 2 wait 4 him 2 come pick me after din 2nite. On d way hm, I sudd felt d presence of smtg hitting against d back of d driver seat n I turned - saw dis bag swinging on d hook..
He rushed 2 get dis after work as I had din wif my cuzs. Nt knowing where he was gg, I still jokingly chided him 4 gg out 2 mt otr gers instd of gg hm 4 dinnie ): Wen I saw wat was in d bag, I jus felt stunned n cldnt move, din noe if I wanted 2 laugh or cry..
Nw I noe y he kept discouraging me frm gettin it wen I said I'm gona buy it. He had plans to get it 4 me all along! Tks, dear dear! *big big muacks*
Dis is my early Xmas pressie frm him (: But u noe smtg baby? U r d best pressie Santa or ni1 else can ever gif me.
