Mb I'm turning in2 a geek too but I'm so so freaking impressed wif dis pl!!!
Little boy is working nite shift again n I'm seriously sick of Starbucks n BK. Sooo, I'm at dis (rather) newly opened internet cafe at Market Street which is opp his office. D name is quite cute - Geek Terminal (:

Dey haf power points 4 ur lappies!! It's reali interesting - c d silver line on d floor bs d plug? Dey jus take a power adapter tgy n jus kinda fasten it dere n ta-dah! U haf electricity! :D Wonders of modern technology =) Oki la, mb dis has been ard a long time, I'm jus sua ku can? Dis is d 1st time I c such tg :P
N hor, it's sheltered all d way frm Raffles mrt station, unlike Starbucks n BK where I nd 2 brave d rain 2 get 2 -.- Also, also!! Dey haf quite an extensive menu! Jus tt no beer la :P Got red wine tho ;) Finali, I can haf choices otr dan mushie swiss burgie n cranberry turky sandwich :D
Almst all d food look so appetizing! On paper la :P As I was sayin, I m feelin reali fat so I ordered onli a caesar salad + green tea (:
1 bite of a piece of d lettuce, I declared (in my head) tt dis is my 2nd fave c.salad, 1st of cos still being Pier 11's :) I nv liked mayo or thousand island sauce, tt's y even tho I like d stuff in CB's c.salad, I don eat it much cos it's 2 creamy. But dis 1 - it's creamy alrite but it's nt d mayo type of creamy. D sauce tastes kinda garlicky (I luuuvvvv garlic), + beef bacon, eggies, tomatoes n chickie. Yumi!!
Given hw much more accessible dis pl is compared 2 Pier 11, it mite b promoted 2 d no. 1 spot reali soon :P But ya, I nd 2 try d otr food on d menu 1st :P Oh oh, n dey even serve complimentary bread bread!
Warm, crispy rolls which went quite well wif d salad sauce (: Tmr I'll try d mushie soup. D onli tg I'm worried abt is tt d crowd here is reali reali pathetic n dey mite close dwn or relocate. For such a big pl (dere's indoors n outdoors), it's sadly quiet. Wen I came in, dere were onli anor 2 tables occupied, each wif onli 1 person n rite nw, dere's onli me n anor table of 5 guys. D highest count thru'out d past hr was onli 7.
Well, hopefuli dere's biz will pick up...but nt 2 much tt I haf 2 queue 2 come in nxt time :P Oki, time 2 watch my "Fathers n Sons" :D Njoy ur nite, little 1s! (:
