Morny morny morny (: I've been staring at dis square 4 d past 20 mins but I still dono hw 2 start wif dis post. Dere r dese mixed feelings of guilt n over-whelming affection..I reali dono hw 2 describe. Guilt cos I can nv b as gd a gf 2 him as he is a bf 2 me n affection cos..well, he's jus so innocently enduring..
Dear was v.excited 4 a whole wk abt dis pl. On Fri nite, he actuali went dere 2 reky 1st b4 bringing me dere last nite. No matter hw I tried askin, he refused 2 gif me hints on where we were gg; even on our way dere, he was happily askin me decoy qns abt where d location cld b -.-'''
Drove ard abit, we ended up at Marina South Pier. I had no idea such a pl even existed!! It's quite a long drive in frm d city area, so prob it's 2 ulu 4 many ppl 2 noe abt it :P We had din at dis restaurant called Pier 11.
Had a corner seat outdoors, wif d sea jus beside us. It was cloudy cos of d impending drizzle but still, d view was v.scenic..
Service was fabulous too. D waitresses came 2 ask if we needed nitg once in like 20 mins, n dey even haf a bell thingy on each table u cld press 4 service!
Such romantic ambience, of cos muz drink red wine rite?? :) Haas, n I jus realized hw long it's been since I ordered a whole bottle of wine :P
Surprisingly d wine here is nt v.exp. We had dis quite smooth Merlot, swt swt de n it was onli $58 :D

Side orders were mushroom soup n caesar salad. D soup was v.mushroomy, I liked it (: N d salad..I reali don mind mkg dis long trip dere jus 2 eat d salad again! It's super nice!! Salads r usuali cold but dis 1 is kinda warm n d sauce is soooo delicious!! Wif d egg white (of cos little boy took out d yolk 4 me :P), bacon bits n some dono wat sauce..yumi yumi yumi!!! :D
Main courses were cod fishy n quack quack :) D fish kinda melts in ur mouth n d potato was soaked in some ginger sauce. I don usuali take ginger but dis 1 was nice - light n fragrant without tt overpowering ginger stench. His duck was nt 2 bad either; meat was quite tender n sweet.
We had d Phyllo apple (no idea wat's tt) n almond butter tart wif vanilla ice cream. It was served on a glass plate n d whole ensemble looked v.pretty :)
Sat dere chatting, njoying d view n cool breeze frm d slight drizzle. D nite was so beautiful. If onli time cld stand still (: Tks 4 d lovely din, darling *muacks* Nxt wk I bring u go nice nice pl 2 mum mum oso k? ;)
Back 2 reality. It's mid-day Sun again. Y does wkends fly by so fast?? *sulks* Writing abt d food is mkg me hungry ): I wana eat d salad nw :'(
