D steamboat was alrite, nt exactly fantastic. D ma-la soup was nt soup at all - it jus tastes like chilli oil -.-''' But dere was quite a gd variety of foodies..

Dere was oso bbq on a charcoal pot thingy; it was d same price wif or w/o it so mite as well :P Hees, d satay men :D

Tok tok, mum mum til ard 9+ den we took d bus 2 Clementi n homie we gooo!! Wen we were on d bus, I was tellin Shian..it's been yrs since we last took tt bus tgt almst edae during Poly :P Hees, tinkg back nw, dose r indeed fond memories (:

After exactly 59 days of nt mtg me, beanie finali met me ytd!!! :D Went 4 a walk wif her ard Boat/Clarke Quay (I dono which is rite) n discovered tt Raffles has a new friend! :D :D

Wanted 2 bring her 2 Timbre @ d Arts Muesum. I din exactly noe d way but hees, I still managed 2 find it on d 1st try!! :D Heng ah, if nt she sure bite me de (n she reali will 1 loh - I haf many scars as prove).

D environment here is slightly diff frm d 1 at City Hall; it's more open-spaced. Dere's a pl 4 d live band but d onli sounds we heard frm dere d whole nite were "testing, testing".

After awhile, beanie started 2 stone..

Din was a seafood-triple mushie pizzie + mussies + erdinger! I tink d mussies here r nicer dan d 1s at Winebos but she disagreed #.- Pizzie was gd tho :)

Mains were seabass n beefie in d middle of 2 huge plates..

D fish tastes like d cod fish I had at Pier 11 last Sat but it's seabass leh..shd b diff rite?? ~.- Niways, dessert was apooo tart tartlet (hees, try pronouncing dis fast, it's quite fun :D) wif vanilla bean ice cream which tastes like jus vanilla ice cream ^.-

Food wasnt 2 bad but 4 tt price, I'd rather go back 2 Pier 11. I can eat more dan 10 plates of d salad *slurps* I miss d salad :( Sighs, been eatg way 2 much dis wk. I don even dare 2 step close 2 a weighin machine nw -.-''' Help!!!! :(

Alrighty! Time 4 beddie! Hees, it's onli 2341! I'm early :P But sighs after I'm done wif adjusting d alignments n editing, I tink it'd b after 12 le =/ Ookie, nitey nites little 1s :) Last 24 hrs b4 d wkend!! Gam-ba-teh!! :D :D

Had a corner seat outdoors, wif d sea jus beside us. It was cloudy cos of d impending drizzle but still, d view was v.scenic..

Service was fabulous too. D waitresses came 2 ask if we needed nitg once in like 20 mins, n dey even haf a bell thingy on each table u cld press 4 service!

Such romantic ambience, of cos muz drink red wine rite?? :) Haas, n I jus realized hw long it's been since I ordered a whole bottle of wine :P

Surprisingly d wine here is nt v.exp. We had dis quite smooth Merlot, swt swt de n it was onli $58 :D

Ntg much happened dis week; I've been sick all week :( Work wise, 1 of my closer collegs, Wendy has left so nw her work is split btn Janet n I while waiting 4 a new ger 2 come in 2 take over it, + my contracts :) On her last day, went 2 d omu rice pl at Taka foodie court 4 lunchie tgt. Nt bad, quite nice..

Fri. Sakura to celebrate d 3 Aug piggies bdae. Funi tg - it was Shian's actual day but he din turn up -.-''' Niwaes, v.v.filling din, we all ended up wantg 2 puke after tt @.- Dere were durian puffs dere n of cos, dey brot a big plate over n Jy so innocently offered d "cream puffs" to me =/ Dey nice nice hor? -.-

Food was quite ok, but it took 2 long 2 come. D servings were huge. Rice + wedges + salad + alot of chicky for $8.50, comes wif a drink as well. Nt 2 bad..

Yawns, I'm tired nw. Dis is quite an out of pt post, I dono wat I wana say oso..niwaes, time 2 slp slp le. I kinda look like dis nw O-Ozzz (eyes wide open but freaking tired). Nites e1 (: Hope tmr will b a better day (:

Dis show is nice!!! It's abt dis perfect couple who thot dey r so meant 4 each otr - no quarrels or disagreements 4 d whole time tgt. Dey were gona get married n d Reverend who's gona marry them dec'd 2 put them 2 a test 4 d 3 wks leading up 2 d wedding. Put under pressure n lots of man-made obstacles (mainly by d Reverend), dey slowly discover, life tgt isnt alwys a bed of roses. Few days b4 d big day, dey broke up after a huge fight n d ger took a break by gg on deir supposed honeymoon wif her family. Of cos, dey realized hw much dey love each otr n got back tgt, dis time wif d blessings wif d Reverend :)

I was telling dear if we ever get married we shd do dis test thingy as well, as he has alwys taken pride in d fact tt we haf nv had any arguments since we were tgt :P Hmm, actuali tt's onli cos d nice nice him alwys gifs in 2 me, no matter hw unreasonable or difficult I was being. I supp if it was ni1 else, we'd haf torn each otr apart long ago, but him..he's alwys so patient, kind n caring n..I dono wat words can justify jus wat kinda person he is..

Tea break at CB after d show. Dey had dis new espresso brownie thingy tt's quite nice. Dey heat it up 4 u so d espresso cream melts in2 d cake (: Iced blended mocha n cafe mocha 2 go along..

If onli eday cld b so carefree n relaxed..

Yesterday, planned 2 watch fireworks. Little boy ended work at 6pm, by d time we went hm 2 get car n got back 2 Marina Sq, it was ard 1945. D whole city area was sooooo packed!! It took us anor half hr circling ard d stupid MS carpark 2 finali get a lot. All we had time 4 din was..

We bot Shilin take-away 2 much on while waiting (ewhere else was so packed n even Jollibean was outta iced soya bean =/). Dey had dis QQ Sotong tgy which looks like a giant octopus -.-''' Dere were slight threats of a drizzle, display was delayed by almst 25 mins. But tt din dampen d spirits of d crowd who were anticipating d fireworks display..

Smhw my camera cant reali take gd pics of fireworks :( Sooo, dese r a few of d nicer 1s. Rushed off 4 our movie str8 after d last boom was heard :)

Seriously speaking, I had no idea wat d heck dis show was abt. I din watch d 1st 2 parts so 2 me, dis show was jus lots of gun shots, crashed cars n exchange of punches. My head was still spinning after I came outta d theatre -.-'''

D dizzy head, coupled wif my absolute tiredness n heavy heart, I was in a desperate nd of a drink. Went 2 Paulaner..

Lager + sweety's bitter lemon..plus a tiny bottle of mineral water which costs $7.50..

I tink d $7 is frm tt piece of lemon in d glass -.-''' If I wasnt so so so thirsty, dere's no way dar wld ever order such an exp bottle of water :P

It's 2146 nw, we r watching Bones. Kinda like CSI, except it's on fossils more dan science :P Sighs, back 2 work tmr :( It's gona b a bz week =/ I nd 2 take leave soon :( Haf a nice nite e1, n hope d nxt wkend will come fast enuff (:
