Din update my blog 4 a couple of days n I gt a complaint ): Oki, it's nw 0012, I'm super tired n I gotta wake up at 7am but I'm doin dis 4 beanie who nds d entertainment during work, my cuz who nds smtg 2 read while stoning in sch (on d days tt she actuali goes la cos she hardly goes sch de), my little boy who nds a few smiles at work n well, d person who wans 2 noe wat's gg on in my life.
N so, d 1st day came n went. Dere were moments of being impressed as well as Xs wen I had d "wth m I doin here?" feeling. I reached office 20mins early, barely awake. Onli my boss was in. She showed me my desk n asked mi 2 sit dere 4 awhile 2 wait 4 d rest 2 come in. N d 1st tg I saw on d desk!
Wireless mouse!!!!
Ok, I noe it's no biggie but d last 2 big co. I worked 4 gave me big fat computers tt were so so slow! But ya, mouse doesnt work properly. N..hmm, I sudd missed Dylan cos I cld jus run 2 him wen I had any probs wif my comp wen I was in Oc =/ Here, I haf 2 change d batt myself tmr ):
Being previously frm a pl where phones ruled my life, I was esp excited 2 c an even more high-tech phone dan d 1 I used in Oc!
But a little 2 high-tech cos I spent half hr figuring out hw 2 change d name on it :P
It's quite a drastic change frm my prev work environments. I'm used 2 wkg in big spaces wif lots of ppl. Here, less dan 10 ppl ard. In d afternoon, it was so quiet I din even dare 2 exhale 2 loudly. I missed hafg Clint bs me pulling my hair, poking me wif his pen, callin mi "silly ger". Or Jacen, chatting non-stop, irritating me so much tt I feel like jus scotch-taping his mouth :P Or my da jie 2 tok 2 mi n my Gz who's laughter alwys brightens up my day.
Work-wise, it's a whole new world. I've alwys prided myself 4 my command of Eng. But 2dae, I've met my match. All d shipping terms look n sound Greek 2 me!! I was so confused during my boss's briefing; to prevent my brain frm exploding n blood splattering all over d ceiling (nt v.nice 2 mk such a huge scene on my 1st day), I started playin tic-tac-toe in my head :D N I swear I heard dem use d words "Ma-ta-poot" n "Curry-moon".
But of cos, dere r gd tgs 2 :) External email access, Internet, privacy (well, sorta), nice cosy environment (gd 2 slp slp) n oh oh!! Hw can I 4gt?!?! Dey even stock up Pilot pens!!
I noe I'm easily impressed but dis is in comparison 2 d ball pt pens I used 2 reject :P
Sighs, no matter hw nice d pl or work is, it's jus totali diff without my dear dear by my side. Tk gdness at least we can still email thru'out d day.
After work, din n ktv wif my da jie, Jean, Tracy n 陈老师. It was hilarious, wif him correcting e1's chinese. I oso pride my command of Chinese but 2nite, I 乖乖 kp quiet :D
Haas, I've known tt guy since SP but nv went ktv wif him b4. He sings amazingly well. N it was esp fun singing 今天你要嫁给我 wif him cos his initials r "DT" n he changed d ger's name 2 my name. Lol~
Den my little boy came 2 pick me n homie we goooo!! Wee! :D
Ntg much happened ytd except I bot dis reali pretty cake-tart thingy. My strawberry sweetheart :)
Oh! If u lack d CNY festive mood, jus drop by my aunt's hse. U jus haf 2 walk pass it, u'll smell CNY.
N I don tink she's done yet. Dis is prob jus Phase I. I'll update as n wen dere's new status :P
Tues, din at some fancy restaurant wif my family. Den 2 Brotzeit wif beanie 4 drinks again. She went crazy n went 2 tarik my beer, resulting in dis -

Oki! Tt's d adventures of my past 3 days. Wish me luck as I TRY 2 settle dwn in my new workpl, or mb I'll miss my dear dear so much tt I'll quit again :P
Time 2 go dreamland 2 find my sweety n count dwn d few hrs b4 we go 2 wk tgt again! Nite nite little 1s! :D
