Juz received a msg on Friendster frm Ken. He's my 1st bf. N so coincidentally, Class 95 is playing Boyzone's "Everyday I Love U" nw. Abt 6 n a half yrs ago, 6+ am of d 1st day I ever started 2 work, I received a voicemail msg on my pager. I went 2 listen 2 it..he had dedicated dis song 2 me wif a v.swt msg. Until nw, tt msg is still in tt pager. I rem anor morn wen I was working n I commented it was v.cold in d office. Abt an hr later, he got his chauffer 2 drive him all d way frm his office 2 mine 2 bring me his sweater, which I still haf, tgt wif a dwarf which he'd gif me 1 every week. N all he wanted in return was a smile.
Dis is hw love shd b isnt it? Simple n swt, no complications, no lies, no over-bearing truths..d world onli has 2 ppl. As we grow older, etg turns complicated n heart-breaking. Mb it's d change in d way we think n view stuff or mb it's cos as conditions change, we haf 2 adept ourselves accordingly..even if tt means becoming more heartless 2 protect urself. Sad, but dis is reality.
Niways, enuff of dis melancholy. Let's recall wat I've been up 2 lately..
Fri nite, The Night Listener wif 1 stick, Josh n his frd, whose name is I tink called Matthew.
Dis story is a little 2 psychological 4 a midnite movie. It's abt dis woman who has some mental illness, goes ard making up stories abt hafg a v.v.sick child involved in a childhood tragedy. His dying wish is 2 write his story in2 a book. Robbin Williams role is 2 find out if dis story is indeed true. Oh, he's gay btw..in d show la. Show ends wif no conclusion as 2 whether or not dere is d actual existence of dis dying boy.
Sat was a super tiring day 4 me..considering I reached hm, bathed n slpt at almst 230 am. Either I under-estimated my efficiency or over-estimated d no. of calls, I onli brot 6 discs 2 watch n I almst died of boredom at work.
Sun. Can't believe I made it thru 5 8 am days in a row *clap clap*. Niwaes, combed d whole Raffles Pl wif Jac at 715 am, looking fruitlessly ard 4 smwhere for breakie. D whole pl looked like a ghost town. Well, it is a Sun morn. Normal ppl wld still b wrapped up in deir cosy comforters. N we even had 2 walk all d way 2 Chinatown 4 lunchie =/
Oh, haf I ever mentioned tt I love working on Sun?? Great time 4 me 2 catch up on my shows =D Dinner @ Boat Quay wif Jac b4 comin hm 4 a rest.
Went 2 watch Scoop wif Em @ d newly-opened VivoCity. My gdness! Tt pl is huge! We walked in circles ard d whole shopping centre b4 we finali located d cinema. Many many shops but some still nt opened yet. Looks interesting. Shd go dere shopping wen free 1 day.
Cute show. Had quite a few badly-needed laughs. Dis deceased reporter came back 2 gif some leads 2 dis high-school jounalist abt a murder case. She went 2 investigate, wif d help of dis elderly magician. She ended up falling in love wif her subject n refused 2 listen 2 d magician's proofs of his guilt. D murderer almst killed her but she din die n ended up convicting him instd.
Finali my off day~ Sighs, 1 day's rest n it's anor 5 days of 8 am again. Gosh! Yawns..tired le. Time 4 beddy. Nitey nites little 1s~
